Dr. Mrs. Jane Irina Adu


Dr. Mrs. Jane Irina Adu is an educationist, author, marriage counselor, a Certified Life Success Consultant and a Minister of the Gospel, with over 25 years’ experience in transforming lives in Ghana and around the world. She is currently the Founder and President of the Potters Village, formerly known as Women’s Refuge & Child Survival Africa (WORCSA), the first Shelter and Refuge center in Ghana for battered women and abused children. She is also an international Family Life Educator and a Life Success Consultant. She is the Chairperson, Life Success Foundation for Africa. In December 2011 she received an Honorary Doctorate degree in Divinity from International Christian University, Nigeria and Overseas, an affiliate of European American University. In March 2002, Dr. Mrs. Adu was an Official Delegate from Ghana at the UN Conference On The Commission On The Status of Women in New York, USA. In 2004, she attended the UN General Assembly Briefings on invitation by Dr. Beryl Dorsett and Prof. Iona Thomas Connor. She was also the Keynote Speaker at a Conference on Cultural Issues Surrounding Women’s Health in Ghana organized by LaGuardia Community College, New York, USA in December 2004. Mrs. Adu spoke on Domestic Violence Against Women – A Worldwide Phenomenon at African American Museum of Nassau County, hosted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Rho Omega Zeta Chapter, New York (2004). She has also worked as the Managing Director, Horizon Publications Ltd. She was a French, English & Life Skills Instructor in Koforidua Secondary/ Technical School, Apam Secondary School, St. Monica Secondary School, New Juaben Secondary Commercial School, West Africa Secondary School and Ikosi Methodist High School, Nigeria. Mrs. Adu has authored and published the following books: Life Skills for Senior Secondary Schools, the first of its kind published in Ghana, which was approved by the Ministry of Education, Social Studies Books 1 & 2 for Senior Secondary Schools. Also Family Life Education Series such as: The Virtuous WomanFour Hundred Miles to a Successful MarriageGood Parenting TechniquesThe Nation’s PillarThe Hospital ChaplainThe Pastor’s Pastor. Other books authored are Woman in Human Development and My Wife – My Passport to Heaven. Dr. Mrs. Adu is married and blessed with six (6) children and 2 grand children.

Charles is a Bio-technologist with a an immense interest in Agri-business. He understands Food Safety Management Systems and their applications. He has profound love for children and loves music too. He is a good communicator and very understanding.

Nana Ama Owusu

Graduated from the University of Ghana in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Afterwards, she obtained full scholarship to pursue her Master’s degree in Childhood Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Norway. She is currently a Psychology lecturer at the Regent University College of Science & Technology in Accra, Ghana.

Graduated from the University of Education (Winneba) in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education. She is in charge of the Home and the school.
