Early last year, we embarked on a re-branding project to better represent the new phase of The Potters Village. In this regard, we redesigned our logo and modified our mission and vision statements to reflect our new focus. This, by the grace of God went very well.

The Potter’s Village is Fifteen Years

The Fifteenth (15th) Anniversary of the organisation was celebrated in November 2015 on the theme “Who Becomes the President?”. The grand durbar was under the chairmanship of Nana Prah Agyensaim, Paramount Chief of Owirenkyi Traditional Area and the former  Divisional Police Commander, C/Suppol Kwasi Ofori.  Other activities undertaken during the celebration include the following:

  • Street march/ float in Accra and Dodowa
  • Quiz competition
  • Sports gala
  • Donation to the Dodowa community
  • Thanksgiving service

Support to the Potter’s Village

Standard chartered bank has been consistent in its support to the Potter’s Village Home.

For the past years they supported Home with:

  • Cash Donations
  • Building materials
  • Computers
  • Two Poly tanks
  • Renovation of kitchen
  • Assorted food items
  • Etc


Inner Court Sanctuary (Praise Palace) donates clothes, blankets and money to the Potter’s Village. This was made possible after a fundraising tour lead by the founder/President Dr. Mrs. Jane Irina Adu assisted by National Coordinator Nana Ama Owusu.

Sports News

Stoke City football club supports The Potter’s Village Orphanage. A charity football match was organized by Ashleigh Bradbury to raise funds for The Potter’s Village home. The money raised went towards the new Bakery, food, clothes and medical supplies.
