HOW WE WORK

  • We receive referrals from all our collaborating agencies such as the Department of Social Welfare (DSW), Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU), Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and Judicial Services regarding various protection concerns.
  • The cases referred are critically analysed to find the best way to manage them.
  • We identify those in critical need of love and protection, by doing a detailed comprehensive assessment.
  • We shelter those in immediate need for it and counsel them. We also counsel those who can live at their homes without being threatened.
  • We create a care plan and make decision to meet the needs of those in our custody. We also explore other suitable means by which they can become independent.
