Our Process
- We work closely with our collaborators who refer cases of vulnerable women and children to us. However, all referrals are first reviewed and authorised by the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, which provides the necessary documentation before we admit any child into our care. This ensures that every placement follows due process and meets the highest standard of child protection.
- The cases referred are carefully analysed to find the best way to manage them.
- We identify those in critical need of love and protection through detailed comprehensive assessments.
- We shelter those in immediate need and counsel them. Those who can safely remain at home are also counselled.
- We create a care plan and make decisions to meet the needs of those in our custody, while exploring suitable ways for them to become independent.
- The Community Support Program through our community outreach programs, we partner with local stakeholders such as churches, traditional leaders, schools and community representatives to reach children in need, particularly children of single mothers for targeted support. These children receive educational assistance, health support and essential supplies, helping to relieve immediate pressure on their families while promoting long-term well-being.
- Our Community Support Programs are made possible through our Child Sponsorship Scheme and Partnership Support.
